Before our AGM in April 2022, we sent round a short survey asking members of our congregation what they thought about how things had gone in the past 12 months. Here’s what people who responded told us:

What went well?

People were happy with the Zoom services and videos of them on Facebook and YouTube, also that we had managed to stay open and to keep in touch with the congregation by Zoom and also by newsletters, the Uplift and the Calendar.

What could have gone better?

People commented that it had been difficult to keep the congregation together, and also difficult because we had been unable to meet up for a long time – but agreed that it was unavoidable given the situation with Covid-19.

What could we do differently in the future?

The main thing in people’s responses was to start meeting again in person and hopefully bring the congregation back together again. (Note that the survey happened in April 2022, and as of May 2022, we have begun meeting for worship in the Turner Hall once more.) General comments included the need to find a way forwards and keep meeting in person if possible, given that Covid is something we will have to live with in the foreseeable future.
