All are invited to join us for the annual Whitby Trip. From Rev. Claire Lee:
“We are holding a summer solstice celebration at Whitby Flowergate Old Chapel on Sunday 21st June at 2pm. We will be celebrating the light and also the sacredness of trees. So, if you have a short story about a tree that means a lot to you or an image of one then please share this with everyone. We will also be having a Strawberry Communion, so if you would like to bring along some strawberries to share, that would be very welcome too! I hope to see you all there at the solstice at 2pm.”
We will leave Newcastle about 10am, head to Whitby for a light lunch, and be at the chapel for the service at 2pm. After the service and social, we’ll go for a short walk around Whitby, then drive home and be back for about 5pm.
