There will be a Peace Workshop with Newcastle Progressive Christian Network (NPCN) and Christian CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament), Tuesday 9 May 2023 at 7.15pm at Brunswick Methodist Church in Newcastle City Centre.
Liddy Buswell from Christian CND will discuss the following themes:
- The current worldwide nuclear situation
- Why do we have nuclear weapons?
- UK’s involvement with nuclear systems
- Nuclear history
- Why is Christian CND opposed to nuclear weapons?
- What does the Bible say?
- What can we do?
