Kendal Unitarians Schoolroom Roof Appeal

From John Campbell at Kendal Unitarians: “I am writing to thank you for organising a retiring collection for Kendal’s ‘Schoolroom Appeal’, and also for the money that you sent in relation to Nick’s books. We are doing pretty well and have so far realised about £125,000 towards the cost of the project. The structural engineer has now submitted his report and the project manager and builder can now work out a programme of works and costings. It is unfortunate that we seem to have missed the days of fine weather to start the actual works but once the roof is fixed and everything is watertight we shall be able to proceed with internal works.”
