We are very sorry to announce the sudden passing of our long-standing congregation member, and former Chairperson and Secretary of Newcastle upon Tyne Unitarians, Maurice Large. A life-long Unitarian, he was known for his wisdom and compassion, determined leadership, and vast knowledge of our congregation’s history. His funeral notice is shown below:

Alan Maurice LARGE (Newcastle upon Tyne) Died peacefully on 9th January 2023. Husband of Joan, and survived also by his son Andrew and wife Jane, son Malcolm and partner Nicola, brother Roy, and granddaughters Emma and Zoe.
