Our much-loved former member, Fiona Tait, sadly passed away in July 2020. Thinking about her on the anniversary of her passing, at the time we placed this entry for her in our Robinson Book, in which we remember members of our congregation who have passed away:

“FIONA TAIT (b. 18 DECEMBER 1968) Died 17^th JULY 2020

Fiona joined Newcastle upon Tyne Unitarians in February 2014. She was elected to the committee at the 19 April 2015 AGM, and brought a fresh perspective and energy to our congregation until resigning due to ill-health in February 2016. She was also the Calendar Editor from May 2014 until February 2016. Her interest in the Unitarian Earth Spirit Network and nature-centred spirituality led to the first Flower Communion Service at Newcastle upon Tyne Unitarians.”
