UU “Leading Into the Future” Day 2, Friday 27th October – Exploring Together, Making Connections and Weaving
In the afternoon, we gathered into small groups to further explore the themes of the morning, then gathered into a large group to share what we had discussed. We considered ‘Conversations of the Spirit’, such as ‘What is holding me in this faith that I want to celebrate? What feels hard or challenging?’ and ‘What do you want to remember from this day? What is beautiful here? What resources or gifts from your communities want to be shared and known in this space?’ It was not always easy to share this with a group of relative strangers. Becoming vulnerable is not easy, but necessary for growth.

Alongside this, our ‘graphic facilitator’ Jon Dorsett, continued to capture what was coming out of the gathering on the giant artwork he was creating on the back wall of the meeting room. We also enjoyed the excellent hospitality of the Prague Unitarians; indeed, many of us took to not eating lunch at the refectory as the snacks available at the chapel were so good!
