On 18 March 2022 at 8pm, Unitarians across the UK joined in a vigil, “Unitarians Together for Ukraine – A moment of silence and reflection” to hold the people of Ukraine in our thoughts. Organised by Unitarian Transformers and our Congregational Connections Lead, Lizzie Kingston-Harris, we said prayers and lit candles.

I joined a friend in her back yard to watch the full moon rise and raise a glass to their struggle to freedom. – as shown in the picture. Please see below for Rev. Mark Hutchinson’s reflections on the situation:
