This service will be at 11am on Sunday 14th September 2025, led by Kainara Motta on ‘Meditation for Change’. We will be in the Large Spiritual Commons Room at Northumbria University for worshipping in person and online via Zoom at:

Please note that the Sandyford Road entrance to Northumbria Student Central is closed due to utility works. You will need to enter the building through one of the other entrances, either near the St. Mary’s Place car park, or facing the quandrangle. We will have someone there, or press the intercom button and the library staff can let you know.

“Change can be challenging, and often it is. We frequently struggle to leave familiar places and our comfort zones, even when those zones aren’t particularly comfortable. As a species, it is easier to move forward when we connect with other like-minded individuals heading in the same direction. This meditation is centred around that idea. It is designed to facilitate change and transformation while ensuring a sense of connection, safety, choice, and empowerment. It includes grounding techniques, gentle somatic awareness, and visualisation to help participants engage at their own pace. You are very welcome to join me!”

We have a portable hearing loop in use during services, with a range of around 1m – seats are reserved for those needing its use.
