Recently we’ve introduced livestreaming our services on Zoom for the benefit of church members who can’t make it to the service in person or who prefer not it. We’ve also just started having occasional services where the worship leader joins us via Zoom, and we can gather either in person at our building or online on Zoom. When we do this, we video our services so that the recording can go on YouTube and Facebook afterwards for the benefit of anyone who can’t make the service on a Sunday.

We want to reassure everyone that we will not, ever, film you during the service unless you are happy for us to do this. When the worship leader is leading the service in person, the camera will only record them. When the worship leader is joining us via Zoom, we do put a camera in the room facing the congregation so that the worship leaders can see who is present, as this helps them connect with those attending. However, we will always provide seats which are out of sight of the camera, so that you don’t have to be filmed if you don’t want to be, and we will always explain to everyone about this before the service starts.
