DESCRIPTION:Join us as we launch a new series of midweek gatherings in the heart of the city centre. We invite you to pause from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enter a space of calm reflection and gentle presence. \nIn July\, following Newcastle Pride\, we will explore themes centred around the LGBTQIA+ experience. Through short readings\, music and guided moments\, we create space to slow down and reconnect with ourselves. \nThere is no religious requirement or expectation to share\, and all are welcome to join regardless of beliefs or faith. \nTo find ReCoCo: They are in Carliol Square\, near the old Fire Station and the City Library. Together\, we will journey through calming visualisation and the repetition of affirmations\, creating space to cultivate inner balance\, restore energetic equilibrium\, and deepen our connection to ourselves. So\, if you have a short story about a tree that means a lot to you or an image of one then please share this with everyone. We will also be having a Strawberry Communion\, so if you would like to bring along some strawberries to share\, that would be very welcome too! SUMMARY:Newcastle upon Tyne Unitarians AGM 26 April 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Annual General Meeting of Newcastle upon Tyne Unitarians will be held on 26 April 2026 at 12.30\, both in person and via Zoom. All are welcome as we discuss what’s been happening\, elect our trustees and officers\, and talk about our plans for the future including the progress of our ‘Unitarians in the Community’ project with Unitarian Transformers. \nWe have a short survey about how things are going\, if you’d like to use it to share your thoughts\, please do\, we’ll carry on the discussion in the AGM: Give us your views 2026 \nOnly fellowship members can vote at the AGM\, or become trustees or officers\, but everyone who attends on Sundays is welcome to join us for a celebration of what we’ve done in the last 12 months\, and an update on what we’ll be doing in the next 12 months. (Members will be receiving information on how to put forward nominations for the fellowship management committee shortly.) If you attend on Sundays and would like to become a member\, it’s very easy and we would love to have you! You can find out more about this here: Being a member \nFor those coming in person\, we will be meeting in the Large Spiritual Commons Room at Northumbria Student Central from 12.30 onwards. There will be light refreshments\, but you may want to bring a packed lunch. The AGM will take around 1-1.5 hours.
